A 16-year-old authority was accused of killing a pregnant classmate and his unborn child, whose father he was, authorities said.
Aaron Romeo Trejo allegedly stabbed 17-year-old Breana Rouhselang on Saturday night and reportedly dumped her body in a dumpster near her home in Mishawaka, Indiana, according to a document filed Monday in court Superior of St. Joseph County. Trejo will be charged as an adult under state law.

They then located more blood in the area and found Rouhselang's body in a dumpster behind a nearby company – a black plastic bag covering his head and upper torso, according to the prosecution document.
The police then transported Trejo and his parents to the police station to interrogate them and asked him "what he knew about last night and where Breana is," says the police. ; affidavit.
Trejo said that "he had approached Breana for the first time in months to see how she was going to cope with her pregnancy" and that she had agreed to meet him but was not there when he returned home, the police told me. Trejo said he had waited a few minutes before returning home after Breana failed to respond to a message that he had sent her, police said.
During the interrogation, Trejo stated that "neither he nor Breana wanted to have the baby" and that he had no idea where she was , according to the court document.
The detective then informed Trejo that the material evidence did not corroborate his story and asked if he and Rouhselang had quarreled during the pregnancy.

He had planned to kill Rouhselang and the baby for about a week, the police said.
An autopsy determined that Rouhselang had died from multiple wounds and that his headscarf had been "so closely tied up that the strangulation had occurred prior to Breana's death," according to the indictment. . The way his death was judged a homicide, said the police.
Trejo is charged with a murder count and a feticide head, or destruction or abortion of a fetus, according to the court document.
