Throughout the Asian Market
The European Union of Football Associations (UEFA) wants to change the TV broadcast days of the Champions League .
According to Bild Sport UEFA is currently discussing the possibility of organizing matches on the weekends.
This is due to the expansion of the market that the organization wishes to go. UEFA is planning to expand towards Asia, as the matches of the most prestigious club tournament in Europe on weekdays are uncomfortable for some regions.
UEFA President, Oleksandr Chefirin, and the president of the European Club Association Andrea Anjlya are involved in this decision. Interestingly, at weekend Champions League meetings, clubs will have to hold national championship games more often on weekdays.
Recall that the Champions League matches take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
