Apple will be able to make the next generation of its flagship smartphones even thinner, simpler and cheaper. That's what the Korean edition of ETNews says.
For this, Apple will rely on the Y-Octa screen technology of the Samsung screen, already used on the Galaxy S9 + smartphone. This display differs from the usual OLED built directly into the touch screen layer. Y-Octa displays are lighter, thinner and cheaper in production.
As production volumes are reduced, the technology will only be used in the oldest smartphone model Apple 2019, heirs of the iPhone XS Max. The same solution that Samsung will take for its flagship products: the Galaxy S10 and the Note 10.
