Lincoln bomb technicians and the city of Lincoln confirm that they have investigated threats in two schools in Lincoln: the Catholic School St. Peter's and Catholic Blessed Sacrament School.

The threat was received at Building 1011 News.

The threats were received by email and appear to be standard letters, said LPD.

A number of businesses across the country have received a similar threat.

Lincoln police said these threats could be part of a bigger scam.

The forces of order have verified the credibility of any of the threats.
