Dynamo's vice-captain, Victor Tsigankov, could speak on behalf of the national team of Israel.
This midfielder made a statement at a meeting with the club supporters in Kiev.
"I was invited to play for Israel." At the age of 16, I went to see my father and I offered to go through him. "I refused, I was a citizen of Ukraine and I wanted to play only for his country," Tsigankov said.
Tsigankov was born in Israel in Nagyria in 1997, when his father was Hapoel Taibi's goalkeeper. Two years later, the family returned to Vinnytsia, where Viktor began his football career.
Tsygankova currently has 11 matches for Ukraine.
Recall Kyivs is preparing to face six rounds of the Europa League group stage against the Yablonnets. This match will be played on December 13 and the start will be at 7:55 pm
