The car is called ZAZ-965-NewERA.

ZAZ-965 "Zaporozhets", the legendary micro-limo car, produced from 1960 to 1969, can learn a new life. A graduate of the University of Kharkiv Automobile Road (HNADU), the 27-year-old designer Roman Pryadko presented his vision of a "popular" model in a new generation, informs UkrMedia.

The car is called ZAZ-965-NewERA. The project is close to the minds of cars such as the Fiat 500, the Citroën C3 Pluriel, the Mini Cooper Hatch III and the Volkswagen Beetle III.

According to the author, the design retained the style of the mark and was simultaneously interpreted. The main change was the transfer of the engine to the front of the body, which simplifies the cooling system. The "gills" on the flanks of the bodywork are one of the main recognizable elements from the outside. In the original version, they served as ventilation openings. Instead, they have been equipped with slots for the evacuation of air from inside the car. What to say is elegant and functional.

The interior adopts the same approach to the style and functionality of the car. The main elements that are striking are the following: a two-spoke steering wheel, a combination of retro style devices, three round function keys on the center console, below which the START / STOP engine starts, completes the horizontal line with a smooth, functional-style elbow under the central and side fans.

According to the designer, the new model belongs to the small class "B", thanks to its dimensions – 3825 x 1630 x 1550 mm and its wheelbase – 2320 mm.The salon can accommodate Free two adults at the front and at the back seats will only be comfortable for children (or two adults for a short trip). Purchaser of this car, Roman sees a boy or girl aged 25 to 35 or a young couple.

The design scheme of the project involves several variants of power plants: internal combustion engines and electric motors with lithium-ion batteries

The development process of a model form , from a plasticine scheme, on a scale of 1: 5, which contributed to the search for style by volume.

It remains to be hoped that such an interesting car will still see it on the roads. And if it is not in large quantities, at least in one copy.
