Samsung posted the first video showing the One UI shell. It has been designed specifically for smartphones with large screens for easy use.
The company has completely reworked the shell and modified the management logic. Now all the necessary elements are closer to the bottom of the screen, so it is easier to reach them. The top half of the screen is devoted to large items and headers.
It should also be noted that a user interface has a dark theme that can be included in the program. This is rather unusual, as manufacturers rarely add a dark design to the system. The only problem with the dark theme is that it only works in standard Samsung applications. The likelihood that other developers will make their apps look dark in style is extremely low.
A user interface runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The shell is already available in the beta for the Samsung Galaxy S9. The official presentation of One UI will take place in February 2019 with the Galaxy S10.
