The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, held a closed meeting with senior officials a few days ago, devoted in particular to the issue of independence under pressure from Russia. According to him, at the meeting, government officials expressed the view that "fiscal maneuvers should be handled not by meetings, but by reforms." One of the tasks is to monitor closer to the field of information, "said another government source.
As reported UNN on December 14, Lukashenka gave an excellent interview to the Russian media. In particular, he said that for Belarus, "sovereignty is sacred", and also regretted that the Ukrainian leaders have not used his proposal to enter the Donbass to resolve the conflict between the soldiers of Belarusian peace.
