On Monday, December 17, Andrei Shcherbakov, a goalkeeper from Vitebsk, died in a car accident. With the 27-year-old footballer, his wife and a six-year-old died. Another child, who was taken to a baby chair, survived. She is currently in the hospital.

According to the forces of order, the Kia car on the 543rd kilometer of the M1 road would have sunk. The car flew to the opposite lane, where it collided with the Mercedes wrecker.

The death of Andriy Shcherbakov was confirmed by the press service of "Vitebsk".

Shcherbakov is a pupil of "Vitebsk" while he had managed to play for BATE, "Slutsk", "Belshyn", Dynamo Brest. In total, on his account, 43 matches in the highest division of Belarus, 15 of which he kept his doors in the castle. In addition, the goalkeeper has played seven games with the youth team of his country.
