GALLUP, NM – A kid who was hit in the face by a bullet in the motel in New Mexico earlier this month is in a coma and will likely have serious health problems, including a loss Hearing and vision, police said on Wednesday.

The court records reveal that Nelson and Bitsilly's lawyers on Wednesday convinced a judge to postpone the preliminary hearing in the criminal case so that she could review the case. New evidence including video interviews, a new police report and images of a surveillance camera.
Bitsilly's lawyer, John Bernitz, said the video interviews provided conflicting information about what had happened at the hotel, but he did not elaborate further .
He described the tragic accident shooting and said that the hotel was attracting people struggling with poverty and that a gun might have been left in the room.
Judge Robert Baca, Magistrate of McKinley County, postponed the hearing to 9 January.
