A mother and a daughter who, according to the police, "were hoping to convey some Christmas cheer" were arrested and charged with transporting a drone in a Florida state prison.

. Cencetta Didiano, 22, of Tampa, allegedly stole their "special delivery" on the roof of the Martin Correctional Institute in Indiantown. The two men were trying to deliver tobacco and mobile phones to an inmate, who was Kerr's wife, and Didiano's father, Tuesday wrote the Martin County Sheriff's Office on Facebook.
Their plan was foiled when the prison guards noticed the drone and alerted the sheriff's office. MPs found the mother-daughter duo "circulating outside the institution"
They confessed to buying the drone on E-bay and attempting to deliver the smuggling to their parent inside the prison.

Authorities said that they had bought the drone on eBay and were trying to deliver the contraband to their relative at the jail, which houses a little more 1,500 inmates.
