Next, the trained neural network selects the correspondent according to all the criteria of the photos, without always giving priority to the images, found only from the analysis of the face. For example, the timing is taken into account to determine if there are significant differences between the two images due to motion, blur, and other factors affecting image quality. To improve the algorithm, engineers have tested it on hundreds of volunteers whose opinion was also taken into account when creating the Night Sight technology. This allowed us to optimize the quality of the photos on Pixel 3.
