KYIV. December 25th UNN. After the velvet revolution, Armenia should pursue a new policy vis-à-vis Russia and change the nature of relations between the two countries. This was announced on December 25 by supporters of Western integration to the action in front of the building of the Russian Embassy in Yerevan, UNN making reference to Armiya.az
. According to the participants in the action, the current government of the country continues the policy of the old power in place. in Russia Westerners demand the withdrawal of the 102nd Russian military base of Armenia.
The presence of this claim is confirmed by the murder of the family of Avetisyan in Gyumri by Russian soldiers Valery Permyakov in 2015, as well as by the recent murder of a woman. According to them, the 102nd military base "poses a threat not only to Armenian citizens but also to the Armenian state".
As reported UNN, in Armenia, a Russian soldier was arrested on suspicion of murdering women from the northern western city of Gyumri.
It should be noted that the woman died as a result of serious beatings inflicted on the way to the hospital on December 3.
