Ukraine prepares a new crossing in the Kerch Strait

] As reported by UNIAN, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexander Turchinov said on December 19 that Ukraine was preparing a new crossing of its ships in the Kerch Strait and invited international partners to participate.

On the morning of 25 November, Russia blocked the passage of the Ukrainian tug Yana Kapu to the Kerch Strait and Berdyansk and Nikopol boats, which made a planned transition from Odessa to Mariupol. Leaving the Kerch Strait, Russian ships opened fire on Ukrainian ships already returned to Odessa, without receiving any information about the possibility of crossing the Strait. The occupants captured 24 Ukrainian soldiers, including three wounded. Ukrainians were accused of illegally crossing the border of the Russian Federation (part 3 of Article 322 of the Russian Criminal Code, up to six years' imprisonment). All the prisoners were arrested by the so-called Crimean "court", after which they were transported to the Moscow SIZO "Lefortovo" and the "sailors' silence".
