A California woman argues uncompromisingly for "seriously wounding" an elderly man "with a brick," says DA's office

A California official pleaded defenseless Thursday after being arrested this summer for assaulting an elderly man with a brick, officials said.

Jones' conviction is scheduled for February 28, and she faces 15 years in prison, the prosecutor's office said.
