Los Angeles news anchor, Chris Burrous, was found dead Thursday in a hotel room as part of a police investigation into a possible drug overdose.

Burrous, a 43-year-old former morning television channel KTLA, was found unresponsive in a Days Inn hotel after a man with whom he was in contact with the authorities announced that he had been arrested. he had fainted and could not breathe, according to a statement.

The man said that Burrous may have been suffering from an overdose.
