Google has updated its "native" Android app for messaging. Now Android Messages has anti-spam protection.
The update is a server and has already started reaching some users. The lucky ones who receive the update receive an alert when the "launch" is launched. Spam protection works in much the same way as in the phone.
As Google explains in the support section, "Messages" recognizes the alleged spam, then the user can confirm or refute this solution using the notification buttons Spam reports are received by Google and the service provider supports this feature. However, you can block the number, whether or not you want to send a report to Google.
If you wish, you can disable the update using the Advanced section settings.
