As you know, LG Display intends to launch the new generation of TV screens with the benefit of OLED technology – the ability to use a flexible substrate. The corresponding prototype was presented at CES 2018.
Samsung is lagging behind its competitor as it continues to produce liquid crystal displays on rigid bases. Nevertheless, this South Korean manufacturer also plans to master once the publication of flexible OLED panels and has already obtained a patent for a curtain screen TV. Unlike the LG TV screen, rotated vertically, the Samsung TV screen should fold horizontally.
