NASA's New Horizons probe is nearing the furthest point of the solar system ever studied by the satellite, the asteroid Ultima Thule.

After reaching the asteroid of the Kuiper belt, the probe will set a record in the next few days – there is still no space exploration. the device has not reached objects as far away from our planet. Ultima Thule is about 6.4 billion kilometers from Earth

NASA will broadcast live on Jan. 1, when the spacecraft will take a picture of Ultima Thule. At the beginning of the broadcast, NASA will feature guitarist Queen Bryan Mey of New Horizons (Ultima Thule Mix). He is a graduate in astrophysics and recently joined a team working with a probe.

The probe is expected to leave the system boundary in the future. It is expected to finish in 2026 when fuel stocks are exhausted.
