Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren called President Donald Trump "an accelerator" in the face of a corrupt system Wednesday night in his first interview since she's announced her exploration a presidential race in 2020.

Warren accused Trump of pushing for billionaires and businesses during an interview for "The Rachel Maddow Show" on MSNBC. The Democrat repulsed Trump and the Republican party, arguing that the government was working for the rich and well-connected people.

Warren told Maddow that Trump is "what happens when corruption invades a system".

"Donald Trump is an accelerator," Warren said. "It takes a problem that only worsens and only exacerbates it, and it aggravates the problem."
