] A Florida man arrested in connection with online threats against Tyler Trent's family
John Matthew Pinkham, 39, has been accused of uttering written threats of death or injury, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday in a statement.
According to investigators, Pinkham reportedly posted threats on Trent's Facebook page after Purdue's super fan died last week.
In his articles, Pinkham reportedly threatened violence at Trent's Celeb. ration of Life, which stands Tuesday and threatens to kill Trent's mother, said the sheriff's office
Pinkham is accused of using a pseudonym, Julie Homan, to post many posts on Trent's Facebook page . Volusia County investigators said the threats included:
- "I can not wait until I can choke you" … "the funeral will begin and I will look like the mower"
- "Wait just that you hear what I'm doing in its place. funeral..I promise to make the headlines..I will kill his mother … watch me, we will talk to me forever … this is not an idol threat.
Pinkham was arrested at his home in Deltona, Florida on Monday afternoon. He was interrogated and then charged, said the sheriff's office.
Killing is punishable by crime.
