Jayme Closs was found
Thursday night, the Barron County Sheriff's Department was notified by the Sheriff's Department of Douglas CO WI that he had located Jayme Closs alive.
Shortly afterwards, a suspect was detained in the case. We have no other details at the moment because it is a very fluid and active survey. We will not answer any questions or answer calls tonight.
We are planning a press conference at 10 am tomorrow at the sheriff's department in Barron. We continue to benefit from the help of FBI agents and WI DCI as the investigation continues.
We would like to thank the Douglas Co Sheriff department and the agencies that assisted them tonight. We would also like to thank all the state and county law enforcement agencies who helped us in this case. We also could not have supported this case without public support and I would like to thank him for all the support and help provided.
Finally, we would like to thank the family in particular for their support and patience during the course of this case. We promised to take Jayme home and tonight we will fulfill that promise. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU
