Another error occurred on the Hubble Space Telescope. According to NASA, the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC-3), the most advanced instrument of the orbital observatory technologically, was freely extinguished.

This camera was mounted on board a telescope during a service mission in May 2009: it replaced the Wide device. Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC-2).

The WFC-3 system allows you to capture images in the visible, near-infrared, near-average and ultraviolet electromagnetic spectrum. Thanks to the camera, many remarkable snapshots of space objects have been made.

It was reported that the WFC-3 tool had stopped working on January 8, 2019 due to a hardware problem.

NASA notes that other Hubble scientific instruments continue to operate. For the WFC-3 system, it provides backup electronic circuits that will eventually be activated by Earth commands.
