MADISON , Wis. Authorities say Jayme Closs, 13, was found Thursday afternoon in the town of Gordon, Douglas County, Wisconsin. A suspect was apprehended a few minutes later. Jayme was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

Jayme had been missing since October 15, when police discovered that someone had broken into his family's home in Barron, had killed his parents and had apparently abducted him. The town of Gordon, where it was found, is about an hour's drive north of Barron.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that Jayme has approached a woman who walks her dog, but the authorities have given no details about it. The Barron County Sheriff's Department has scheduled a press conference on Friday morning.
