Ukraine is in favor of the gradual abolition of the veto at the United Nations Security Council
This statement was made by Volodymyr Yelchenko, Head of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations 39, UN, in his article for the publication "The mirror of the week".

Yelchenko pointed out that Ukraine was part of the signatories of the Declaration to the support of the initiative concerning the voluntary engagement of the representatives of the "five permanent members" with the Defense Council with a view to lifting the use of the veto right in the event of massive atrocities
