The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is considering the possibility of sending Ukrainian troops to study in Israel

The relevant question was raised by Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak during his official visit to Israel at the IMI Academy.

Poltorak is familiar with the peculiarities of preparing special work when developing various educational scenarios. "During the meeting, the possibility of training representatives of the Ukrainian armed forces on the basis of this academy was examined," the statement said.

It is noted that IMI Academy presents innovative training programs that provide solutions to critical operational needs. In addition, the center provides assistance in the formulation and implementation of combat doctrines and tactics in practice, and also develops a situational analysis to guide decisions and resolve specific tasks, as well as to provide equipment, weapons and logistical support.

On the eve of January 21, President Petro Poroshenko and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed a Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel .
