"His courage and strength have truly inspired our team members around the world."
Hormel Foods is the parent company of the Jennie-O Turkey store, which employed the parents of Jayme, James and Denise Closs.
The company stated that the Closses were long-time employees of the Jennie-O store in Barron.
The company devoted resources to search and rescue efforts, including a $ 25,000 reward. Now that Jayme is safe at home, Hormel said he was working with law enforcement to donate his share of the reward.
"Although we still mourn the loss of long-time family members, Jim and Denise, we are very grateful for Jayme's courageous escape and that she's back in Barron," said Steve Lykken, president of Jennie-O Turkey Store.
"We hope that a trust fund can be used for Jayme's needs today and in the future."
