A moonlight darkened in the night of January 20 to 21. People from different parts of the world attended the entire lunar eclipse, called "Bloody Moon". A little earlier, scientists from the University of Spain in the city of Huelva had already tried to repair a meteorite that would fly with a lunar eclipse. They tried to do it for years. However, they did not succeed.
This time, they immediately used 8 telescopes and sent them to different parts of the moon's surface. Spanish scientists have managed not only to see the flash for a month, but also to fix it on the video.
Some viewers decided that it was an optical deception or a problem with the show or the camera. However, Spanish scientists concluded that it was a meteorite that collided with the lunar surface.
It is thought that the meteorite could weigh about 2 kg and had the dimensions of a football
"Bloody Moon" is a rare combination. At the same time, three astronomical phenomena: a complete lunar eclipse, a bloody moon and a superfluid one. When the eclipse is complete, the moon becomes dark red. This color is due to the weak light that dissipates in the Earth's atmosphere.
