The scene takes place at the SunTrust Bank, along the US 27, south of Jackson Lake. Just after 12:30, law enforcement authorities said they had received a call from someone claiming to have fired shots inside the bank. MPs and officers reacted and circled the building, weapons unsheathed.

A woman told FOX 13 that her parents had had more early, but found the doors locked before spotting people on the floor inside. When they went away, they heard gunshots.
"This is a tragic day for our community," said Chief Karl Hoglund. "We suffered a significant loss in the hands of a foolish criminal who was committing a senseless crime."
The chief stated that "at least" five people had been killed, without naming any of their victims.
Police identified the suspect as Zephen Xaver, a 21-year-old local resident, but gave no idea of the possible motive.
