Scientists were able to capture the image of the ESO 577-24 nebula – these are the remains of a dying star. Photographs of astronomers were obtained with the help of the very large telescope of ESO
. The photograph was published on the website of the European Southern Observatory. It also indicates that the age of this nebula is about 10,000 years old.
The ESO 577-24 nebula was discovered in the 1950s during the bird's eye view of the Palomar Observatory. It is included in the catalog of the Eibel Planetary Nebula.

ESO 577-24 located at 1400 light-years away from the Earth. Once, this nebula was a gigantic star, which shed its outer layers and turned into a small, warm dwarf light. The rest will gradually cool down and disappear.
