Moldova expects explanations from Russia through the "representation of Transnistria"

Russian Ambassador to Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova by opening the unrecognized Transnistrian representative office in Moscow.

that "the status" of the official representative office "is crucial for diplomatic relations prejudicial to the bilateral relations between Moldova and Russia, which undermine sovereignty and territorial integrity from the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalls that the leaders of the Russian Federation have repeatedly expressed, openly and unambiguously in support of the aforementioned principles, "reads the statement.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova asks the Russian authorities to fully respect the norms of national and international legislation in order to avoid any uncertainty and speculation that may affect relations between the two countries.
