NASA specialists have published unique photos of the asteroid MU69, also called "Edge of Peace".
The photos were shown on the NASA website, reports HUMAN TRUTH.
Unique montages were made using the New Horizon spacecraft as of January 1st. The probe created frames at the time of maximum approximation with the object – at a distance of 6700 km 7 minutes before its passage
MU69 – the object farthest from the Sun, visited by a human probe, and thus allows to consider the image with the celestial body.
The New Horizon spacecraft was launched into space in 2006 and, in 2019, it began its last mission: to investigate the Kuiper Belt and observe the asteroid MU69
