DDR5 has not yet fully emerged in the mass market and South Korean SK Hynix has already announced the launch of next generation RAM. According to preliminary calculations, the DDR6 modules will be able to transmit data up to 12 Gbit / s

SK Hynix warned that the development would take about five to six years. Therefore, before 2025, we can not wait with DDR6. According to insider information, developers will work not only on bandwidth capacity building, but also on DRAM integration with single-crystal systems.

In late autumn, the company introduced 16 gigabit DDR5 memory slots, which will be launched next year. The problem of lack of memory is usually solved by installing additional modules, and some motherboards can handle objects of 128 GB or more.
