Ukrainian coach Andriy Shevchenko described the rivals of the Ukrainian national team and shared his opinion on naturalization.

Serbia – a very strong team, a member of the 2018 World Cup – now has a wonderful composition of artists that occur in the main championships. We know Lithuania well and Luxembourg is perhaps the most advanced team in the last basket. We can say exactly now – it will not be easy. But we will certainly fight for victory in every game and for the conquest of a trip to the euro in general.

– Will we see Hacheridy on the team? Do you follow Chygrynsky?

– We follow a very large circle of players; more often, I will share between them and help matches to visit, our analytical service records the games to review. We have a wide range of information and so everyone has a chance to take up the challenge.

– Where to bring the striker to the national team?

– Are you satisfied with the beginning of Boryachuk? We have attracted quite a number of forwards for the year, both Kravets, Seleznev, Yaremchuk, Besedin and other boys. Boryachuk made his debut, it was an important moment for the young player to feel the atmosphere and the level of the game of the team. An attacker is important to score, but the performance of our attacker is not high. The guys have to grow in the clubs, win the competition, I expect it from the Ukrainian attackers in 2019.

– Is it possible to appear in the team of new "legionnaires"?

– Is work on the naturalization of someone else, with the exception of Marloss, possible? We do not naturalize the players. If a player who has adopted Ukrainian nationality appears and his playing level matches that of the national team, he can count on the challenge with everyone. I work with football players who have Ukrainian passports. The rest of the decision is up to the players themselves

– Do you advise players participating in the Ukrainian Championship to go abroad?

– I do not give advice.

– Do you dream of working in a club?

– Now I dream of succeeding with the national team of Ukraine. It concentrates all my thoughts.
