Car manufacturers have been actively developing new niches in recent years and created models that had never been in the lineup before. BMW has become a 4-door coupe – first the Gran Series 4 Series and the Gran Coupé 6 Series, which will replace the Gran Coupe 8 Series, and now it's the Gran Series 2 (F44) .

The flagship version of the Gran Coupé 2 Series will be the M235i with the same 2-liter turbo petrol engine as the X2 M35i crossover. The basic equipment should include all M Sport accessories, including 18-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, sports suspension as well as sports decoration and bodywork. It is expected that the hybrid version of the M performance will be equipped with a 252 horsepower internal combustion engine and an electric motor of 87 people
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe will debut in 2019, but only after the premiere of the new generation BMW 1 Series 5-door hatchback
