The Chinese government has put in place a mixed ownership program: giving some private companies a share of state-owned enterprises to increase their efficiency. On the contrary: Meizu became practically the first company to use this program, but in the other direction. However, the reason for this bold move is now known.

She needs it for her financial "recovery". In the context of a falling demand for smartphones, revenues are also falling. For example, by the end of 2018, the company had sold twice as many devices compared to 2017.

Recall that the president of Xiaomi Corporation had promised to surprise the world in 2019. Apparently, the company has prepared interesting new products that can upset the smartphone market. Among other things, it should be noted that the company started to launch camera phones, smartphones, whose main feature is the presence of a tiled camera. For example, Redmi introduced the Redmi Note 7 smartphone priced at 150 USD, featuring a 48-megapixel camera.
