The Lviv "Carpathian" Department has drawn up a detailed territorial plan (DPT) for the reconstruction of the "Ukraine" stadium. After large-scale changes, the number of spectator seats will be reduced by almost half, but a museum, hotels, an athlete rehabilitation center and a sports school in the surrounding area will be built.
According to the TDP system developed, the number of seats on the stands will be reduced to 15,000 (currently – 28 thousand). Additional rooms must be equipped with changing rooms with showers for athletes, a dispatch position for stadium management, a media area, a press conference room, comment booths, a VIP bed and a press room.

In addition, following the Expansion of the stadium limits in premises with support, a reeducation center for athletes, catering establishments, FC Karpaty, club clubs
It is planned to have several places parking for more than 1,200 cars around the stadium.
It should be noted that the total duration of the reconstruction is 10 years.The first stage (up to 5 years) includes the construction of training grounds for a sports school for children in the park "Snopkivsky", as well as the construction of a sports infrastructure on Lipova Alley street, reconstruction of the "Ukraine" stadium, construction of parking lots and modification of the transport network around the stadium in course of the Step 2, which can take up to 10 years.
This plan must now be the subject of a public hearing.
It should be added that in 2019, their home games are scheduled. In addition to the Carpathians, FC Lviv will also be held in this stadium.
