This patent was recently discovered in the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). By the way, the next cameras will be localized as well as other sensors, which will allow to obtain a good quality of the photo. It is very likely that a Chinese company wants to test its power in 3D photography or for better coverage of the sensors in order to digitize a person when she is connected. Of course, this is only a hypothesis. And do not forget that it is still a patent and that this smartphone is still unknown to the world.
