The Wi-Fi Alliance certification database for Wi-Fi enabled devices includes Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and Galaxy J4 smartphones running Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

At the end of the month Samsung released a calendar of Android 9.0 Pie operating system updates for its smartphones, which indicates that the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and Galaxy J4 will be upgraded in April. However, Samsung has significantly accelerated the process of testing new firmware in recent months, so we will not be surprised if the new firmware for these devices will come out, for example, in March.

It is unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core will receive the Android 9.0 Pie operating system as part of the new One UI graphics shell. Sources believe that it is faster than no. Last summer, Samsung Galaxy J2 Core was the cheapest smartphone maker.

Regarding the graphs above, the latest Android 9.0 Pie should receive Samsung Tab A tablets from 2017 and 2018.
