President of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy signed a law prohibiting Russian citizens from being observers in the elections in Ukraine. This Friday, February 8, he reported on his page on the social network Twitter.
"I have no doubt that the president will support our parliamentary initiative and that the law will come into force in the coming days," said Parubei, informs the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
Recall that on February 7, the Verkhovna Rada had voted for the non-admission of Russians to the observation of elections in Ukraine. On February 8, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia would not send its observers to Ukraine.
