Aides told Politico that Trump used these time slots to watch television, call people, read newspapers and doing other work.
While critics criticize the schedules as evidence that the president is slacking off, the White House says that management's time is used to keep Trump abreast of legislation and maintain relations on Capitol Hill, among others,
