All I wanted was to be loved, but no one cared about me.
Police located Cleary in Cleary, Provo, Utah, on Saturday, and interrogated him about various online threats, including one in which he allegedly "planned to make a quick decision about a place according to a statement of probable cause.
"All I wanted was to be loved, but nobody cares about me," he wrote in a Facebook post, police said. "I'm 27 years old and I've never had a girlfriend before and I'm still a virgin, that's why I plan to photograph a public place soon and become the next mass shooter. "
"I'm ready to die and all the girls I refused will fix the situation by killing as many girls as I see," he said, according to the police.
Police said the investigation concerned several agencies in Colorado.
"Another area of concern is the women's marches taking place today in various parts of the state, including a walk to Provo and another to Salt Lake City," writes the # Agent in his communique. "The probation office contacted me and said that it was a normal behavior with Cleary."
Cleary, who was on probation for stalking and threatening a woman, was arrested for violation of probation and terrorism threats, according to police.
He reportedly admitted to uttering threats in police custody, telling the police that he was upset and not clearly thinking when he did, police said in his statement.
Cleary also made suicidal comments and told investigators that he was suffering from some sort of "impulse disorder", according to the statement.
