A child was injured after falling on Tuesday at a rhino show at Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida.
The child was rushed to a pediatric hospital in Orlando for treatment, the Brevard County Fire Department and Zoo officials announced.

"During a meeting with Rhino, a hands-on educational experience with the white rhinoceroses of Brevard Zoo, a young man A guest entered the rhinoceros yard and was injured and the family was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, "said Brevard Zoo in a statement to ABC News.
The child's situation is unknown at the present time, said the zoo.
"During the meeting, the participants and the rhinoceros are separated by a series of steel poles," he added. "According to witnesses, the child stumbled and fell between two poles and, at this point, the muzzle of at least one rhinoceros came into contact with the child.
"The zoo has offered this experience daily without incident since 2009," the statement said.
"Our number one concern is the safety and well-being of our customers and our heart goes out to the family," said Keith Winsten, executive director of the zoo. "Safety has always been of paramount importance to us and we are suspending these meetings until we have thoroughly examined our processes and procedures to prevent this from happening again."
