A Dallas policeman was killed in an accident on Interstate 20 Saturday, authorities said.
The accident occurred Saturday morning after the motorcycle of the agent collided with an SUV. The name of the agent has not been published.
The policeman was transported to Baylor University Medical Center where he died, reported FOX 4.
The officer was doing a courtesy escort for the burial of the deceased. an officer in Shreveport, LA and was blocking an access ramp when he was hit by the car. All eastbound lanes on I-20 were closed after the crash.
The driver of the vehicle was stopped and a sober rest was carried out.
