A dead, five hospitalized in a Phoenix motel shootout

A woman was killed and five people wounded in a shooting at a Phoenix motel on Sunday, police said.

Police found six adults – three men and three women – with a gun injury, he said. They were taken to the hospital where one of the women, who according to the police was 18, was pronounced dead. The alleged suspect would be among the wounded.

An adult male who was on the scene with the alleged suspect escaped before the police arrived and is wanted by the police, said Carbajal.
