A Texas man reportedly fired at his wife's laptop because she was playing music too loudly

A Texas man was arrested for apparently firing his wife's phone with a handgun because she was playing music aloud on it

Gary Lykins, 44, was arrested early. Saturday after being barricaded in a house near the Marine Creek Reservoir in Fort Worth, reported Fort Worth's Star Fort Tel Worth newspaper.

Police reportedly sent 16 units to their homes for almost four hours after receiving a call around 2 am According to the Dallas News, the SWAT team was called to the scene, but Lykins made it before his arrival.

Lykins was charged with deadly gun conduct. His wife was reportedly slightly injured after receiving debris in the laptop during the incident.

He remained imprisoned on Saturday without any bail. Jail Records did not appoint a lawyer for Lykins.
