Malaysia Goodson, 22 years old, fell down the stairs of 7th Avenue, 53rd Street

A 22-year-old mother died after falling on the stairs of a New York subway station while she was carrying her daughter's pram.

Malaysia Goodson was found Monday night on the platform of 7th Avenue Station, 53rd Street, police said.

Her one-year-old daughter, Rhylee, was found conscious and treated on the scene. She was not seriously hurt and is with her family.

Dead Goodson was declared dead at the Mt Sinai West Hospital.

She was born in New York but lived in Stamford, Connecticut.
