According to reports, a deputy sheriff from Ohio died and another injured during a confrontation with a suspect barricaded in an apartment complex.
The scene in Pierce Township, near Cincinnati, was still active early Sunday morning. The incident started just before 19 hours. Saturday, when police responded to a psychiatric call.

A man called 911 to report that people from his home were refusing to leave and that he had weapons in the interior , Captain Jeff Sellars the Clermont County Sheriff's Office said at a press conference.
WXIX-TV, an FOX affiliate in the Cincinnati area, announced that police had first received calls for shots around 8:15 pm. Other shots came from inside an apartment while the authorities were trying to negotiate with the suspect, hitting two deputies. One MP died and the other remained in stable condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Police did not retaliate, said the Pierce Township police. The deceased member has not been identified. Authorities communicate with the suspect through a megaphone and advised nearby residents to stay indoors.
