Anatoliy Lomachenko is the trainer of his son Basile. He also helped to prepare about the fights of Ukrainian boxers Alexander Usik and Alexander Gvozdyk.

as boxers under the direction of Lomachenko Senior have won all their matches in 2018. Thus, Vasily Lomachenko first defeated Jorge Linares, then defeated Jose Pedras in the unifying battle.
