Another test of the flagship Snapdragon 855 platform at Geekbench shows a contradictory result.

A few days ago, the network showed test data on the Sony Xperia XZ4 smartphone in the Geekbench reference: the model built on a single chip platform Snapdragon 855 excelled, recording 3497 points in mono mode -thread and 12801 points in multithreaded. Now, in the same benchmark, another device on the Snapdragon SoC 845 has already been noticed and its results seem much more modest.

Apparently, the technical sample of the smartphone, created by Qualcomm itself, has been tested, so it's hard to think of the designation of the motherboard – msmnile. Yes, and 6GB of RAM have somehow little to do with the flagship model, but that's more than enough for a sample that will be used for debugging. The operating system was running Android 9.0.

Apparently, the device received 3545 points on the single-thread test and 11150 points on the multithread. And if, in the first case, the result is quite comparable to the results of the test Xperia XZ4, in the second case, the failure. For comparison, the results of the Huawei Kirin 980 high-flying platform at Geeknebch – about 3,400 and 3,100 points, respectively. So the Snapdragon 855 is faster, but not bad, especially in the second case.
